Why Berlin?

Because it is different from all the cities (especially German). Because it is open, artistic, tolerant and inspiring. Center underground and alternative lifestyles. City of freedom, a feeling that has always belonged here.

Trying every visit to this city to see, learn, explore and discover something new, something I had not seen, felt and experienced.

On the other hand, I have a favorite park, favorite metro station, a favorite street which required a walk when I’m there. I can never make up my mind whether I like it more during the day or at night.

As each religion has its sacred places, so I think some of Berlin ‘my holiness’.

This year, Germany for all the bells marks the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Bauhaus school in Weimar. Jubilee on the field of art, design, architecture and craftsmanship. It is especially prominent in Germany, however, the influence of the Bauhaus is important in the world while celebrating the centenary globally.

I believe in the theory that form should follow function, and therefore I am always fascinated by strong intellectual ideas of the Bauhaus. I like him as a heritage, spirit and style of the Bauhaus visible today.

Wall that was erected almost overnight in 1961 (about 150km long) The Soviets wanted to stop the mass displacement of the population from the eastern to the western block, today’s outdoor gallery. Synonymous with the cold war and division, East side gallery seems to be in a near future re-painted and updated. Somehow she patina that previously had been interesting, but it’s not bad i like this “civilized”.

If you are planning a trip to Berlin, do not forget in the time, and you book online visit the Reichstag (Parliament). I recommend to all my friends this. It does not matter whether you tour during the day or evening, I promise, you will enjoy. The idea that glass dome lowered to the parliament building and make it clear to their politicians to be people watching from above, and they have to watch what they are doing is simply brilliant.

Berlin is completely flat and is well pleased pedal and explore it by bike.

The weather was changeable, so we packed raincoats backpack and went to the zoo, which is located in the southwestern part of the Tiergarten park. We have not got wet (we were lucky) and is enjoying the zoo was relaxed.

Walk zoo was always a winning combination. While on the one hand trying to scoot about town and lots to see, walk through zoo is fun for me right relief (this is definitely one of the most interesting gardens that I have visited).
